Place Dauphine is located on one of the most evocative, exquisite and romantic streets of Paris and on the western side of Ile de la Cité almost touching the old Pont Neuf.
This extremely bright, secluded and quiet Ile de la Cité apartment is situated in an eighteenth century building and is accessible by an elevator.
Located on the fifth floor, Place Dauphine is a unique, one of a kind apartment. Its four bay windows overlook the chestnut-trees planted along Place Dauphine, a street closed to traffic.
Place Dauphine was totally renovated by owners who love old buildings, antiques and above all excellent craftsmanship. An old, new and contemporary mix of things makes it a very special place to spend time in Paris. The decor is a tasteful, simple mixture of contemporary furniture, French and oriental antiques and modern art.
In the southward facing bedroom is a very comfortable queen size bed, cupboards to store and hang your private clothing, as well as many lamps and spotlights. In the living area there is a top of the line, brand new sofa-bed perfect for an extra couple or children.
The extremely modern bathroom offers a shower stall with a glass partition, a top of the line sink, full length mirror, hair dryer and toilet.
The kitchen is the latest in Italian design and while it is small, it still offers an oven/microwave, dishwater and refrigerator/freezer. More than enough for a brave cook needing to prepare a full dinner, but being in the world capital of food nobody cooks while staying in Paris! If you're an exception, the nearby Rue de Seine market has exceptional fresh food, whether it's fish, meat, fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, breads, pastries, wines, you name it - they have it all.
The airconditioning system is a life-saver on the very few hot nights that Paris experiences in the middle of the summer but rest assured it's not often that the airconditioning is needed. The phone line is available for incoming and local calls only. However, we can provide you with a cell phone with your own private number.
The all inclusive rental fee for Place Dauphine for a minimum of five days is 200.00 € per day for 2 guests and 235.00 € per day for 3 or 4 guests.
Upon completing the Place Dauphine rental contract, 30% of the rental fee is requested to be transferred to our PayPal account. The remainder is to be handed to us upon entering Place Dauphine apartment.
A Security Deposit Cheque of 800.00 € or equivalent in your country's currency is mandatory.

The surrounding old buildings are privately owned by well known people - artists, writers, movie directions and rocks stars that are rarely seen, but please don't ask us to drop names!
The large building to the south is the main court in Paris. In the seventeenth century Place Dauphine was the first botanical garden in Paris.
The apartment is just a few minutes away from Saint Germain des Pres and the Seine River is located a few seconds walk away.
Cathédrale Notre Dame is also close by, and like the Sainte Chapelle is a walk of only a couple of minutes from the apartment. The full-of-life rue de Seine and rue de Buci are at a stone's throw from there. The famous Saint Louis en l'Ile is also nearby.
The Bateau Mouche that makes its way around Paris along the Seine River can be boarded on the banks of the Seine just outside Ile de la Cité.
