Luxembourg Garden

Pure luxury is the most apt description of Luxembourg Garden-- but even that does not do it justice. This apartment is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Paris, and is the epitome of quality and class. When in residence, you will be surrounded by Paris' elite intellectual community, and the glorious Jardin du Luxembourg is just outside your doorstep.

The Apartment

Luxembourg Garden exudes class. From the moment you enter the building, you will feel that you've entered a world of tradition and good taste. The foyer entrance to the building and the graceful staircase evoke the elegance of a bygone era.

Upon entering the flat, one is immediately struck by the refined grace of the décor. The entrance of the apartment is flanked on the left by a spacious dining area which faces the entrance into the salon.

The breathtaking living room, decorated in a classical style interspersed with Asian art, is a joyful place to relax or entertain. Its deep, rich colors and antique (yet comfortable) furniture have the power to rejuvenate even the weariest of travelers.

The kitchen is fully equipped and capable of accommodating both the seasoned home chef and the dillitante alike. The dining room is a beautiful setting for a quiet meal or for a dinner with up to 6 guests.

The first impression of the bedroom is its striking beauty. The deep red colour enhances the room's relaxing ambiance. The king-size bed guarantees a night of restful sleep.

Through the corridor in the bedroom, past the spacious closet space, you will find the luxurious bathroom. Full comfort is the standard and simple beauty is the subtle touch. This fully equipped bathroom comes with both a walk in shower and a standard bathtub.

Luxembourg Garden is luxurious beauty executed in the most tasteful of ways.

The District

The Latin Quarter is one of Paris' most loved neighborhoods. With the Sorbonne and the stately Pantheon, the glorious Jardin du Luxembourg, and the lively market street of Rue Mouffetard, there is no end to fun and entertainment in this quarter. On Mouffetard, you will find fishmongers, butchers, delicatessen, fresh vegetables, fruit stands, bakeries with piping hot croissants, breads, baguettes, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants.

Just to the north east of the Latin Quarter is the Jardin des Plantes, a large park with the fantastic Paris Natural History Museum. Beyond this is the Seine river and slightly further away, Cathédrale Notre Dame.

As you can see from the map there are numerous metro/subway stations nearby.

The famed Pantheon, where very well-known and illustrious Frenchmen are buried, such as Voltaire, Jean Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, André Malraux and Alexandre Dumas is located just a few minutes walk to the right from the apartment's front door.

In the other direction from the front door - to the left - is the famously beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg which is home to the French Senate. The park also has a wonderful playground for youngsters and an extraordinary running path of 2km in length. There's also a large fountain and pond where the old and young play with miniature boats, and relax on benches and chairs enjoying the park's wonderful, quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

The area around the apartment is one of the most diverse in the city, offering a touch of exclusivity, a hint of student life, 2 world class gardens and close access to the Seine. It's one of the most exciting areas in Paris.
