La Garde Freinet
La Garde Freinet is legendary Provence at its best. With its villa setting, magnificient interiors and the natural luxury of the surrounding countryside, La Garde Freinet is quintessential southern France.
The house itself is newly built in the old tradition which offers the unusual advantage of fresh and efficient design with old fashioned French charm.

The House
La Garde Freinet is a large and beautiful house set on a hill overlooking the countryside of the legendary Provence.
The house was built recently with the intention that it should retain a triditional look and feel while at the same time provide the comfort and seemless beauty of newness. With this in mind, the house was constructed with wood beams, tiled floors and high vaulted ceilings while also having a fully equipped kitchen, ample living space, 3 full bathrooms and also a pool.
The bedrooms are all equal in comfort and beauty offering something greater than just a place to sleep. They are rooms that feel good to be in.
The bathrooms are evidence of thoughtful design. With 3 altogether, there is never any waiting in the morning for the shower. They are streamlined, spacious and comfortable while also evoking a more historic sensibility.
The kitchen is a dream for the chef in your group. With this much counter and floor space and this kind of insipiring design, anyone could put together a masterpiece of French cuisine.
Outside is the pool - perfect for a dip in the lazy provençal afternoons or a great plce to keep the kids entertained.
Not far from the pool is the annex which houses 1 of the 3 bedrooms and 1 of the 3 bathrooms. It functions as separate sleeping quarters from the main house.
The property itself is just what can be expected of this fabled area of France. The rolling green hills surrounding the house are dotted with olive trees and cypress. It is provençal perfection.

The Region

The smells of provence alone are enough to make it mythical with its rolling fields of lavender, wild growing rosemary and oak groves hiding rich truffles.
With Avignon and its papal palace, Marseille and its unique seaside culture and the glitz and glamour of Nice on the Côte d'Azur, there is always something happening in Provence.
