Roualle can house fourteen guests and is located in Landes, one of France's largest states.
Roualle's architecture is very pure and historically typical of this area. It is an architectural style which is rarely seen anymore and of the examples that can still be found, few are in such a beautifully maintained state.
The property is hundreds of acres in size, surrounded by thousands of acres of private pine forests. The quietest place on earth awaits your visit.
With so much acreage you can easily understand that the owners provide a ten horse stable for your horse's needs if you decide to, and here's a thought, bring yours with you!
A pack of sixty hunting dogs are housed more than a hundred yards away from the main house. All are waiting for your gentle pats and strokes, but the owners want prospective guests to know of the potential for baying and barking every once in a while.
As you can see, Roualle looks like a stylist decorated it for a home decorating magazine's pages. Everything from the furniture, linens, draperies, to the kitchenware are of top quality. Also top quality is the woodwork and tilling throughout the house.
The twelve by six metre swimming pool is a heavenly place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The poolside cabana's benches await you for reading, sleeping and overlooking the kids playing by the pool, the house, and the countryside all around.
To the left of the house you will find the fenced vegetable and flower garden. (Deer are eager to eat everything soft and tasty) The garden is the pride and joy of the owner's wife. In it one will find many different types of flowers, and tens of different types of vegetables. They're provided for your use, in decorating, or cooking.
Your hosts have the help of a gardener, a pool maintenance man, and full time guardian.
The guardian's wife is an excellent cook and is available to prepare some local dishes for your enjoyment. She is also available during your stay to assist with housekeeping. As you can appreciate, both of her services aren't included in your weekly rental.
The Annex is decorated with the same feeling and quality and will welcome another four guests with its two double beds and bedrooms. A bath and shower for both rooms is also available. Contact us to enquire about its low additional weekly fee. It’s being rented as in conjunction with the house, but not by itself.

Allow us to suggest that the best way to discover the region and all that it offers is by looking at some of the best websites on the subject, whose explanations are, and will be, much more in depth than ours. Keep in mind though that we are still available to help with specific questions.

Golfing, jogging, walking in the woods, hiking, dirt biking, canoeing, kids activities, fishing, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, kite flying, hunting, discovering Churches, Museums, etc. in the state of Landes.
The town of Bordeaux, located 90km away has a TGV station, our version of the Bullet Train, which will take you to or from Paris in about four hours.
Bordeaux has also an International, and a National airport. Cars can be rented at either airport or at the TGV station.
The town of Biarritz is the best and only place in all of Europe for surfing. While in Biarritz don't forget to have a meal at the famous Princess Eugenie's Hotel. Napoleon had it built for her love the Princess Eugenie. He requested from the architect to have the hotel built in a E shape, E standing for Eugenie. Aren’t the French in love something else?
